Now that the Discussion section has been removed from 12 Blueprints' Facebook page, a veritable treasure trove of seasonal makeup recs is no more.
Fortunately, I hoard data like a squirrel hoarding nuts for the winter, so I've been keeping a list of seasonal makeup recs from a variety of sources for the last couple of years.
Mary Steele Lawler of Luminosity posted some recs from her own list on her FB page. Her gracious example has inspired me to share some of mine here.
I though I would start with Soft Summer, since I feel like I've neglected this season a little bit since I started this blog. So here are recommendations for Soft Summer lippies.
If you're a Soft Summer, most of these colors will look pretty darn good on your lips (and your cheeks, if you use lippie as blush the way I do).
Some may be a tad warm for you, or a smidge cool, or a hair too light or dark. This need not shake your faith in your season. It's normal, because the variation of human coloring within a season means that not all women in a season wear the same colors on the face equally well.
Also, some of these are discontinued. And a few recs may be straight-up bad. Try before you buy, if possible. Please do share feedback in the Comments section. :-)
