True Autumn
Aishwarya Rai's beauty shines through whatever colors she puts on. But the cool, icy shimmer of her diamonds here is at odds with the warmth of all the rest of her. This lip also seems too cool, and the eyeliner too black. She can be even lovelier than this.

This is true, naturally beautiful Aishwarya. The warm, earthy colors of True Autumn are perfect next to her face. No wonder she looks more confident.

If colors seem terribly, awfully wrong, look for their opposite to find what's perfect and right. Here, purely cool color in hair, clothes, makeup and jewelry seems completely artificial on actress Mariska Hargitay. So I look for her in warm colors...

...and discover perfection. What a beauty she is in True Autumn's cozy palette. She looks both alive and relaxed.

It looks like Noa Tishby's stylist planned this look for another client. The makeup just sits on her face instead of seeming to emanate from her, as it should. And the black dress has nothing in common with her.
(Ever notice how celebs, and real people too, don't often look happy in the wrong colors?) |
Much better. Noa looks like a golden goddess in her True Autumn colors. Note that she could have kept the darker brown that's probably her natural hair color and still looked amazing. The lippie is still too red, perhaps, but with everything else working, I'm not going to complain.
