LIGHT  SUMMER

Light Summer is  the very beginning of Summer. It borders Spring. Recall that Spring colors are light, bright and warm. So adding a little Spring to Summer makes the summer colors lighter, brighter and just slightly yellow-y.

We say that Summer is a season characterized by softness. But your Light Summer colors aren't particularly soft.  They're suprisingly un-Summery in their level of saturation  -   bright enough to rival Light or Warm Spring's palette.

As a Light Summer, you know that your least flattering colors are dark. You're a Summer above all, so in general blues look better on you than reds. But keeping your colors light is so important that you can successfully wear some warmer shades, like peachy pinks, if they're light.

Your natural hair color is usually brown (the most common hair color on earth, after all), but there is a disproportionate number of blondes here. Your eyes, hair and skin can be any color, but your overall look is light, light, LIGHT. Click here to see celebrity examples of Light Summer coloring.
