Contrast

As a Light Summer, your overall level of contrast is very, very low. On other words, your skin, hair and eyes are all similarly light. A black-and-white-photo of you would show all of the colors of your body as similar shades of grey.

So to create the look nature meant you to have, it's not enough just to wear the colors in your palette. It's also important for your clothes to echo your natural low level of contrast. This means that the colors you combine should resemble each other closely.

Combining slightly different shades of one hue, such a light blue with a medium blue, will look incredible on you.

Combining neighboring hues with the same level of lightness, such as a light blue with a light blue-green, will also look fantastic.

80% Cool, 20% Warm

Light Summer is the edge of Summer, where it meets Spring. This means your natural colors are mostly cool but you do have some warmth.

In order for you to look your best, aim to combine cool colors with a touch of warmth. A scarf in a warm color, or gold accessories, can balance a too-cool outfit.
