Here's the other extreme - a very gentle pink - and it's so good. 

(You can see that the warm yellow of the earrings doesn't belong with this beautiful True Summer face. Though they're awfully pretty earrings.)

I've seen Jennifer Garner called a Winter, but I think Summer is correct. A Winter should be able to carry an intense red like this. Jennifer is overwhelmed by it.

She's much lovelier in a cool purpley blue that's a little (but not a lot) muted. The intensity of the color matches her skin and hair.

This is an example of something I often notice in Cool Summers: orange turns them orange. Beautiful girl, orange face.

Kimberly Williams is beautiful. But here, all we see is orange makeup. If these were the right colors for her, they wouldn't read "orange"; they'd blend naturally into her face.

This isn't Cool Summer's most natural lip, but it's a beautiful option for a more dramatic look.

All I can think when I look at this pic is "Soooo pretty."

Here,  her skin  color looks natural, though she's surely wearing plenty of makeup. We sense we're seeing her, not the makeup. The smallish pattern of the dress is also good for Summers; in the viewer's eye, the colors blend together and the overall effect is rather soft.
